Why the draw is fair
Winners are chosen with a Fisher–Yates shuffle, the textbook way to randomize a list: each name is swapped with a randomly selected position exactly once, which gives every ordering — and therefore every name — an equal chance of landing in the winner slots. No name is "due" and repeated draws do not wear grooves in the odds; each click is an independent, uniformly random draw from whatever list is currently in the box.
Running raffles people trust
Fairness is mostly process: paste the full list before anyone watches, say whether you will draw one winner or several, and use the remove option when second chances should not exist. The drawn-later tie-break is simple — need another winner, click again. For anything with real stakes, screenshot the list and the result, and consider having a neutral person press the button; transparency, not the algorithm, is what keeps a giveaway friendly.

Veelgestelde vragen
Can the same name win twice?
Not in a single click — each click draws distinct names. Across clicks a name can win again unless you tick "remove drawn names from the list", which deletes winners so every remaining name gets its turn.
How many names can the list hold?
Thousands. The shuffle is a single pass over the list, so even a whole classroom roster or a long giveaway entry list picks instantly. Keep one name per line, and duplicates in the list do get extra chances, exactly like extra raffle tickets.
Where do the names go after drawing?
Nowhere. The list lives only in the page while it is open — nothing is uploaded or saved, and closing the tab erases every entry.
